Anyone going to see this? It's from JJ Abrams - one of the producers of Lost.

I just came back from it; it came out today. oh. my. god. It is amazing. The visuals are awesome. It's got a cool dramatic little story to go along with the monster fucking shit up. And the first person camcorder perspective ratchets the action up to a whole new level. Finally, it has just enough humor to make it perfect. It reminds me a lot of "Dude, you got some Arnzt on you"

It is completely off-the-wall-omg-wtf-is-going-on JJ Abrams goodness.

I'm still shaking and numb from that movie. Cloverfield will make you scream, laugh and cry - sometimes in the same scene.

First person isn't anything new though I am surprised at the number of people that think it is.
I guess a lot of people never saw The Blair Witch Project.

I think it's just where it isn't really used in many movies.(at least not many that I have seen) But now I must go see this movie.
