Another fps goodie from Ubisoft, with lots of spiffy weapons and interesting gameplay. And the visuals look amazing! I think they even mentioned something about co-op in the campaign part, as well as the traditional deathmatch types. Good thing it's also for the PC too.... otherwise, I'd have to get a PS3 pronto. (just better not be Vista only, ) Set in the year 2048 in a world where Governments have outsourced military operations to Private Military Corporations (PMC), you play a newly enlisted soldier seeking fulfillment and thrills by fighting for a good cause. As the leading PMC, Mantel Global Industries offers a high-tech arsenal of vehicles, deadly weaponry, and on top of that a performance enhancing bio-medical support known as Nectar. As a result, Mantel troopers are the most feared by terrorists, dictators, and the corporation's political enemies. Your conflict begins in a war-torn country where you have been sent to fight a vicious rebel faction, the Promise Hand. At first glance, all is well, but things quickly begin to look a little strange...Haze -- ps3.ign.com/objects/784/784480.html

well...at this point, vista hardly has support/products working on it....so yeah, it's not something to really want to have. I vote ps3 over it anyway! ya bugg, get me the ps3!!!now! hehe. This game looks to be pretty awesome. Not usually much for fps games...but I'll definitely get into them when they're good.

Ooooo looks sweet. Kinda reminds me of Far cry and F.E.A.R. I'm defiantly gonna pick this up if its as good as it sounds. You know if its gonna be on the PC its gonna be for Vista. I still can't get over Halo2 being Vista only. The Xbox runs halo 1 fine windows 98 runs halo 1 fine and only requiring 128MB ram. So why does halo 2 need vista and a gig of ram?

Resource hogs..... they don't really need all that. They just want it to appear all elite, even though having all of that would definitely give you better performance.

Yeah but the fact is you don't need it. And people have even said it should look way better than it does because of the system req.

Well it seems Ubisoft has decided that they will only develop Haze for PS3 ...... for now anyways. LinkEdit Haze may also be the first online co-op for the PS3. Link

bleh! Why not have it for the pc? They would definitely have a bigger audience, with all the pc fps players out there. Although it is a bit difficult to build cross platform games, especially one like this where a person's pc might not meet the standards of what the ps3 can do.

Do they have a demo for it on the Playstation Store? (I can't check...) I remember them having a wallpaper way back when, but I haven't heard of anything else.

Nope not as of yet, though they do have a game play interview. They updated the store today ,and the R&C FTOD demo gets released on the 11th I think. But I think that the demo not being out is reasonable considering that the game won't be released until November.
