One of the few tv shows I'm actually addicted to is Lost. To summarize: After a somewhat mysterious sequence of events, an oceanic flight from Sydney to LA crashes on what appears to be a deserted island. The chance of being found and rescued is fairly small, so the survivors have to cope with a set of challenges. They have to learn to survive on the island, a mysterious place with enough dangers on its own. Also, they have to learn to live with each other if any success is to be expected. And finally, they have to live with themselves and their pasts. Interwoven with the events on the islands are flashbacks to the pasts of 14 main characters. Step by step, we learn a little more about their diverse and unexpected pasts as the group's quest to survive takes shape.
Summary written by RagingR2The official site is here: abc.go.com/primetime/lost/where you can read more about the show and watch online episodes. The show itself is full of clues for people to use to search for answers online. It's almost like a scavenger hunt to decipher the mysteries of the island, although each new find is as puzzling as the clue was. This Hanso business has something to do with experiments on the island and even has its own fake website. www.oceanicflight815.com/www.thehansofoundation.org/Right now, the show is in repeats in preparation for its third season this fall. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend renting the previous season DVDs because it could be a little confusing to just jump right in- but well worth it.

What is the bright light supposed to be in the first website? Or the yellow eyes that run through the bushes at the bottom of the screen?
I also noticed on the "Executive Bio's" page that Hugh Mcyntire is missing a photograph. Is this supposed to develop the show?

What is the bright light supposed to be in the first website? Or the yellow eyes that run through the bushes at the bottom of the screen? I also noticed on the "Executive Bio's" page that Hugh Mcyntire is missing a photograph. Is this supposed to develop the show? It's really hard to explain since the show really doesn't reveal that much at all and seasons of shows are all linked to everything that occurs. The bright light- Locke found this buried hatch and had been trying to open it. The light is a security light that the guy in the hatch (I forget his name) turned on when Locke was hopelessly beating on the hatch door after failed attempts. They were both signs of hope for each other- the lone man in the hatch heard Locke, and Locke saw the light shining up at him. The yellow eyes- could be one of two things. There are mysterious experiments being done on the island... (as part of this Dharma Project funded by The Hanso Foundation.) So there have been strange creatures found on the island, like a polar bear, a black horse, a winged-lizard thing, and some kind of floating smoke-creature.....the eyes could just be some creature in the woods. OR there are the "Others," which are another group of people already on the island when the plane crashed..(their origins are still unknown, but they are suspected Dharma operatives). They kidnap some of the crash survivors at random times and use torches when they move through the woods at night. The lights in the jungle could be light from the torches of the Others or the survivors. The missing picture- The executives of this Hanso Foundation are very secretive and unknown. That's one of the huge questions in the show, "Who's running this project and why?" They should elaborate more as the show continues, but it seems to create more questions than answer them. Basically, it's like a puzzle. You're given these bizarre pieces, and some of them you can put together and some aren't used until later. Very, very confusing.

Uhhh, they don't get lost, but there's a lost city on 'Mystery Island' with a temple you can visit once per day. If you're lucky enough to get the treasure, you might get the avatar. (Getting the avatar is random when getting the treasure. You probably have a 33% chance of getting it, while having the probably 20% chance at finding the treasure. So you have to be uber-lucky to get it!)

Well, it's something that remains a mystery because you haven't figured it out yet.... but hopefully will one day. You know what I'm talking about, just may not realize it. But it's no big deal and doesn't have much to do with LOST. man.... when is that coming back already.... too many reruns
