Hey, welcome! It's nice to see a new face! ;D Getting online isn't so bad, cause hey, even I could do it! (And Mello and Bugg know how I'm not much of a computer person at all!) Also make sure to get a headset. It's what makes the game lots more fun, yet can also make the game pretty much suck. (Little 10 year-old brats who never should've been given an online-capable PS2.)

Hehe about the little 10yr olds. And yeah, I get most of my stuff off ebay too! Nothing like saving a few bucks here and there !

lol... yeah, there's all ages on there. It's just that the kids have a hard time controlling themselves when they really shouldn't say something at all. Hehe, but it's fun! You'll see

I just want to shoot them down (literally) when they start blazing me. Gotta put em in their place! But then some 6 year old comes out of nowhere and beats me by like 2 minutes or something like that...damn.

You will have no problem with the six year-olds. All they do is glitch and cheat. We play every night, so chances are, you'll be able to catch us. Darkbugg, Mello, LightDaxx.

Do they still sell the adapters in stores? I thought they stopped selling them awhile ago, maybe they sell used ones? And when I get online, I'll be plain ol DarkJak

I wouldn't doubt that they sell it. Even though the slim-PS2 came out, they still gotta make money with the old ones.
By the way, I just checked...unfortunately DarkJak is taken.

By the way, I just checked...unfortunately DarkJak is taken. figures, it's probably the most popular name out there. I'll think of something. Man! Why can't I get out of this room and get the stuff!?

EBgames sells some used adapters and if they don't work properly, you can trade for another one. And they have new $20 headsets, the ones with the mute. Don't let them try to sell you one of those crappy Madcatz or Socom ones. The Logitech ones with the mute are even cheaper than the Logitec non-mute ones at Walmart- which are like $30 or something.

Yeah, I was recomended Logitech by some guys on my other forums. They make great stuff. When you buy the adapter, is there a disc that comes with it for configuration or something?

From what I've seen at the EBgames stores, the used adapters are just in clear bags and don't come with a disc. No worries though! Just put in your Jak X disc and tell it to go online. It has it's own configuration setup that works just as good.

sa-weet. well, I've brought this thread far enough off topic, I'll leave it open for the next person who joins.

oh, in that case, sweet. Sometimes the mods on the other forums can be a bit like nazis at times... ;D
I wasn't referring to you guys or anything. I was joking. Laugh. LAUGH!
