For some reason, this show seems to actually have appeal for NBC. It looks like it follows the lives of average people who mysteriously gain these powers, such as invulnerability, seeing the future in visions, flight, time travel, and this odd, other side of a girl who will most likely be the villain of the series.
The main title shows a red moon with a slight glimpse of light in the top-left edging of it, which is also seen by Claire (The invulnerable cheerleader) in a trailer. This might be a tie to the coming of apocalypse from the bible- "You will know the time is near when the moon sheds blood."- but what can be infered as the truth is that this 'object', whether it be the moon or an asteroid, is what is giving the people these powers. (Radiation, or possibly a mythological/biblical tie.)
It looks pretty good from what I've seen, and I honestly can't wait for it to start on September 25th.

I've seen some shows that have promise, but when the show actually airs..it's no where near what was expected- in a bad way. Hopefully this won't be the case for this one. It sounds interesting.

How terrible. It's such a shame that a portion of America actually watched this.

It was that bad? I missed it because my other show is on at the same time.

Yeah, I caught a few moments of the show, but it didn't really hold my interest. It seemed like using the story technique of making everyone's life connected seem rushed and poorly thought out. Where Lost makes it look natural, this show makes it feel too "convenient." Bottom line is that I wasn't impressed, and the show left me disappointed (the part I did watch). Too bad. But this is just my opinion!

So Heroes took a nice spin over the break between Seasons 1 and 2. It's odd how a show can go from a see-saw effect of okay and horrible to intriguingly incredible. The only episodes last season that could even match up to the greatness of these were the last few, but atleast the ones that weren't set a nice foundation for the ones to come. Anyone who didn't appreciate last season like I ended up doing, should really give this season a shot. Believe me, it's worth it.
