Ubisoft is coming out this holiday with a new Rayman game for the PS2 called "Rayman Raving Rabbids." It about insane rabbids (rabbits) have invaded the world and you have to stop them. Sounds a little strange to me... And the new PS3 game Mello was talking about is called "Assassin's Creed." By the looks of it, I think it's a combination of Prince of Persia and Hitman. Creed takes place during the Third Crusade under Richard the Lionheart, sometime in the late 12th century. Your character is Altair, an assassin, and the combat is both weapon and hand-to-hand based with emphasis placed on stealth and environment. Interacting with the environment is a key part of the gameplay, and you'll be able to grab any piece of structure that sticks out at least two inches from its source- so, much of the background environment will be interactive. And the controls are contextual, meaning that the player probably won't even need to look at the manual to figure out how to play. Each button on the controller is connected to a different part of the body: X for the legs (running, jumping, creeping), square is your hands with weapon (swinging slashing, stabbing), circle is for your free hand (pushing, pulling, high-fiving), and triangle controls your head (looking, speaking, gesturing).
