I'm curious as to everyone's opinions of this game. A lot of times it's brushed off as a crap platformer, but I really think it has a good story, and the endless amounts of easter eggs and secrets keeps me playing it over and over and over again. I recently started the very first one up again, and I'd like to play them all in order now that I have them all.
Also, I really like the bolt noise. >_>

It's ok.....is the best I can say for it...... Jak and Sly are much better, I just think the large weapon variety makes the game go over the top more or less annoying since half of them are crap basically

I did beat all of Ratchet: Deadlocked with just the ball-and-chain weapon-y thing.

It's probably a good game/series (especially for the younger crowd), but IMO it's kinda boring. I fell asleep while playing it (or actually, watching bugg play it) ;D I wasn't really impressed with the first one, and have had no desire to get any of the others. Plus, if I wanted to go online, the kids would surely drive me crazy. We get enough of that on Jak X.

I've only played the first one. It's a solid game with good features/controls and has a nice combination of shooting and platforming. I actually liked the amount of different weapons.. it kept the game interesting, and you could use the weapon that best fit your fighting style.
However, I thought the story was a bit boring and many of the characters were on the borderline of annoying, if not downright retarded. I pushed myself to finish it so I could be done with it and move on. Probably why I haven't bothered play any of the other Ratchet games, although I hear they are much better.
So, in all, an ok game.... but I've played better.

The only one I thought was good was Going Commando. All the other ones are mere nonsense. I'm not expecting much at all from Size matters. (It also bugs me that they're using lewd, annoying titles, other than Deadlocked.)

D'aww. I'd have thought more people liked it. ;( Ah well. I can understand how it'd seem boring; I thought it was at first, but then I really sat down and tried to enjoy it for what it was, rather than have expectations. I like games where I can just wander around and do whatever and explore, instead of back to back missions all the time. XD
