Now, I have recently purchased an Windows Vista, Dell Inspiron 5315 Desktop w/an High Defination Flat Panel and Sound. I really enjoy having Windows Vista. It's smoother, flashy, and faster than ever before. It's so different than XP. It's better, in my opinion. So know what, I had an idea. That idea is to discuss w/other Vista users if there out there in this forum community. Also to ask any questions. I hope that this topic will be active and fun to post in.
Happy Posting

Heheh, I might be the only one here who's got vista...my laptop died a while ago, right after vista came out, and i needed a new comp that very night. so we went to the store, and since it came out, they don't sell xp on pre-made comps. so. yea. at least i can play halo 2 wen i get it > edit: oh yea. i like vista better too.

bah! vista lol.... My biggest problem is it lacks maturity, considering all the bugs it's having and how incompatible it wants to be with many current programs. Yeah, biggest plus for me is that you can play the new Halo on it. Otherwise, I'd still stick to XP.... until they get some kinks worked out of it a bit...

Vista is.....getting there. Microsoft made a big mistake in releasing it when they did, it's just too buggy! And wtf is with them including a wallpaper that came from Apple?!?! Douches... *cough* OSX Leopard > Vista < Windows 98 < OSX Leopard *cough*

I'd never had any bugs with my purchase of Vista. I had for about 4 months now.

Well try using some old programs on it. Most don't work unless you modify it in some way. Now I believe Bugg is right; computers are getting too smart , but I use to believe my dad "Computers are the stupidest things in the world. You have to tell them everything", but now I like doing some of the stuff my self because some programs want to run at an inappropriate time *cough*Norton*cough*

I'd just like to butt in and say
I'd buy Vista soley for gaming. I'll be getting a MacBook next summer before I go off to college, and I plan to run both OS X Leopard and Vista on it. Maybe with a side order of Open Suse. Who knows.

lol how many OS's ya need? ya...not all have problems with vista, but the fact still remains that it is buggy for MOST. And yes, the only reason i'd even consider getting it would be for *dun dunn dunnn* HALO! (and whatever other games are only for it that i would want) ;D Give it a few years and they might work it out, or it could become another disaster and next thing ya know we have a vista SE or something i still vote no on vista, but if ya buy a new preloaded comp...what other choice do ya have. lol
