Well, that was a good way to waste 2 hours and 45 minutes, I guess. On the car ride to the theatre, I thought to myself, "Why am I here?" "This is going to be stupid." It was boring as a plus.
Apparently this movie is about Superman coming back from checking a tip he had gotten that Krypton was actually still in the Universe, and hadn't blown up. I don't know if this followed the movies from the 80's/90's or whatever, but it was just a bit overdone.
Throughout the length, I felt like I was more in a combination of a wannabe-thriller and chick-flick, with the 'strong-but-quick' rfekindling of Lois and Superman's love. Plus, they introduced a child in the movie, which this isn't a spoiler since it's expected since upon the moment Clark and he, Jason, meet, you can assure yourself that Jason is his son. And then there's the scene in Lex's boat, where Jason shoved a piano into a man who was attacking Lois. (His mother.)
The one thing I hated the most was how they tried to make the audience believe that Superman was dead. Why? How stupid! A comic that came out in the 50's that's still to this day going on is going to have no segment of the storyline where THE CHARACTER/MAIN HERO WHO'S NAME IS THE FREAKIN TITLE OF THE DAMN SERIES DIE.
In short, this movie was nowhere near among the best, but it wasn't the worst. Maybe second-worst. So don't expect much if you go see it.
Dax's Bad Rating: (4/5)

If it get's a bad rating, I'll give how bad, , it is out of the worst.
If it get's a good rating, I'll give how good, , it is from the best.
