We're usually creatures of the night... but if I've got nothing going on, I might get online a little early,

I'm ever so pissed right now. I couldn't get an adapter, even a used one, at my local stores. I've been thinking about buying a new slimline ps2...don't they have built in ethernet?
Plus then I need the wireless bridge and headset and whatnot.

Yes, PSTwo's have the Network Adapter built in, and come with the configuration disc. (PSTwo's how I roll! ) But Like we said earlier, Jak X has it's own configuration setup in the online menu of Exhibiton. (I think you press Square...) If all else fails, you could try eBay.

Well, I'm looking for a job, if I get one I'll buy a new PS2 to celebrate ebay is the only way to go at this point for the adapter. But I think they might have the bridge I'm looking for over at compusa.

Even though I don't know what the hell a bridge is, awesome! basically, it allows my ps2 to pick up our wifi internet with an antenna. I plug that into the adapter and I'm set

Yeah, i've known people to have their connection act up when using wireless. Some do, some don't. Just use whatever works best. Hehe, eveyone's going wireless these days.

Yep. My PS2 room is down the hall from the office, so wifi is the only way to go. I think that I'll have to do some stuff with the bridge on my computer before I can plug it into the PS2. I think I'll have everything I need by Wedensday, Tuesday if I'm lucky. Which I'm not. Should I also hook up a keyboard to the PS2?

Having a keyboard is a really cool feature. You can type more text in the ready room wiht one than you can without. ;D I love that baby!
